Message And I'll keep my thermal efficiency.

If you don't get the advantages of the exhaust pulses, you can at least get the advantage of getting most of the heat from the exhaust into the turbo. I'm not saying one is better than the other (exhaust pulses vs. superior thermal transfer)because I am not qualified to say. One thing I do know, however, is keeping as much heat as you can in the exhaust when it hits the turbine instead of bleeding much of it off (into the engine bay) on it way there is a GOOD THING. Properly cast manifolds can be thermally coated and wrapped to your heart's content saving all that heat for the turbine where it helps build power (rather than loosing it into the already hot and crapped engine bay).
